BOOKING KIT

BOOKING KIT IN HARD COPY

For a complete, hard copy of this Booking Kit, we encourage you to print this page, and our Financial Policy and Contact Us pages.   Since our Schedule Page covers at least twelve months, and changes quite often, it is best not to print the whole thing.   You will probably prefer to return to our website for updated information, when you get ready to book one of our shows.  This is also true of our Programs Page, which is so loaded with hyperlinks to other pages, you would end up with a Booking Kit roughly the size of the IRS Code.   (Ha!)

STEP ONE
Select Your Desired Program Title

Visit our Programs Page.  Review the titles for Dramatic Presentations, variety shows, Bible messages with drama and mini-concerts, Bible conference themes and drama training seminars.  Our feature length stage plays are designed for Sunday morning church services, as well as Sunday evening and mid-week special events.  What are you looking to book?

      • A Sunday morning Worship Service
      • A Sunday evening Special Outreach Event
      • An Inter-Church Community Event
      • Pulpit Supply while your pastor is away
      • A Banquet or Dessert Theater Event
      • Entertainment during an Annual Community Festival
      • A Bible Conference
      • A Family Camp

STEP TWO
Choose a Date and Time

The sooner, the better!   We are available to serve churches during the week, as well as on Sunday mornings and evenings.  Holidays book very fast, and usually way in advance.   But remember this:  Our dramas are all designed for year-round performance.

Popular Seasons Include:

    • Valentines Day
    • Passion Week:  Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday
    • Mother's Day in May and Father's Day in June
    • The Sundays following Labor Day, which is the "Fall Roundup Season"
    • The Harvest Festival Season, where Midnight in a Graveyard offers a positive alternative to Halloween.
    • The Sunday and Wednesday night before, and the Sunday after Thanksgiving Day
    • The Sunday before Christmas
    • Christmas Eve
    • The Sunday after Christmas
    • New Years Eve

Find more Seasonal Suggestions here!

We are convinced that, with prayer and careful planning, some wonderful things could be accomplished during the less popular seasons, including holidays like Memorial Day and Labor Day, the month of January, and the summer months ranging from mid-July the the end of August.   Please don't hesitate to contact us for some creative "outside-of-the-box" ideas.

STEP THREE
Verify Availability of Date and Time

You can verify the availability of your desired date and time by checking out our Schedule Page before contacting our office.  This saves you precious time and spares disappointment if a date is already booked.   And bear in mind, we can set up on a Saturday for a Sunday morning performance, then, on Sunday perform the drama, strike the set, travel as much as 45 minutes, and be back on stage by 6:00 or 7:00 pm.

    • Note which dates and times are labeled "Available."
    • Note bookings marked "Tentative."
    • Note when we are already scheduled to be in your area.
    • Note when we have "Targeted" to be in your area.
    • Note what Title is coming to your area.

You are welcome to contact us about bookings marked "Tentative."   We will place you in "Backup" status, and you will have first claim, if the "Tentative" is not booked "Firm" in a timely manner.  If we are already scheduled to be in your area on a Sunday morning, it could well be a great opportunity for you to book an evening of the same, or a different title, while we are there.   For various reasons DDM may "Target an Area" for booking.   This could also be a great opportunity for you to book a program while we are in your area.  Whatever title is booked for your area, you are welcome to request a different program while we are there.  We can carry sets, props and equipment for two different stage plays when we travel.

STEP FOUR
Review Our Financial Policy

We encourage you to review our Financial Policy prior to contacting our office to book one of our programs.  There you will find information regarding...

    • Our Basic Financial Policy
    • Travel Expenses
    • Lodging Requirements
    • Meal while in the area
    • Alternative arrangements for meeting financial needs

We hope you catch our passion to serve the Lord and local churches as freely as possible, and that you will not let the question of finances cause you to hesitate to call us.

STEP FIVE
Contact Dramatic Difference Ministries

Now that you have selected a Program Title, and have chosen and verified a Date and Time, we encourage you to Contact Us.   We can be reached by phone, email and/or letter (aka "Snail Mail).  Suggestion:   It might be wise to have several dates and times in mind when you contact us, just in case new data has not yet been posted on our Schedule Page.  We try to keep it as up-to-date as possible, but we sometimes fall behind when we are on extended road trips.

When you Contact Us for a booking (firm or tentative), you should be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Date and Time Requested

  • Name and Phone Number of Alternate Contact Person
  • Program Title
  • Anticipated Financial Arrangements
  • Nature of Event   [Sunday am/pm Worship, Community Outreach, Dinner/Dessert, Theater, Inter-Church Event]

  • Audio and Lighting Support Technicians   [if needed]
  • Power requirements     [most programs require 5 to 6  20 amp 120vac power outlets]
  • Ability to Darken Auditorium

  • Regular Sunday Attendance and Anticipated Attendance for this event
  • Would you consider contacting other churches in your area to help secure a second booking?
  • Would you consider cooperating with other area churches to make this an inter-church event?
  • Will there be any local events or festivals on the date requested that might distract from this event?
